How To Make A Wax Seal

Wax seals are fun and easy to make! Materials: Brass Wax Seal Stamp, Sealing Wax, Melting Kit, OR a Low Temperature Glue Gun.

If using Melting Kit - recommended method

1. Cut each stick up into 8 even segments - 1x segment of wax will be enough for 1x seal
2. Place wax segment in melting spoon and hold over a tealight candle
3. Heat until a thick runny consistency then pour onto your surface
4. Lightly press Wax Stamp into sealing wax and allow 5-10 seconds to cool
5. Gently peel Wax Stamp from sealing wax, if sticking occurs give more time to cool

If using Glue Gun

1. Insert Sealing wax into Glue Gun, and allow 5-7 minutes to melt
2. Squeeze trigger to dispense a 25mm circle of sealing wax on your surface
3. Lightly press Wax Stamp into sealing wax and allow 10-15 seconds to cool
4. Gently peel Wax Stamp from sealing wax, if sticking occurs give more time to cool

We recommend chilling your stamp on a bag of ice, or an ice pack, between sealing.
